Service Description

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) originates from and follows the principles of cranial osteopathy. It is a subtle and refined approach, working with the anatomy and physiology to alleviate trauma and dysfunction, thereby supporting the body's inherent ordering principle to re-establish health. Craniosacral therapists use a highly trained sense of touch to diagnose subtle changes of tension and tissue quality allowing them to understand and treat the cause of the symptoms, thereby reducing the chance of symptoms returning in the future. CST is suitable for everyone during all stages of life and is a deeply relaxing and nourishing therapy. It is particuarly helpful to alleviate stress, migraines, musculoskeletal pain, digestive disorders, post-surgery, for tinnitus, insomnia, menopausal symptoms and bereavement. During a session, clients lie down fully clothed and a light touch is used to sense blcokages up and down the spine and in the cranium. Sessions last 60 minutes and clients report immense relaxation, stress releif and pain relief.
